The Pleasant Residents' Association was formed a number of years ago to act as a focal point for all Residents in the Mount Pleasant, Mount Pleasant Avenue, Little Lane,Robinson Lane estate and Watts Lane area.

Currently the association has suspended it's activities due to lack of volunteers to stand for committee.

The Cheeky Chutney Show...and the winner is!!!

The Mayor congratulating Sylvia Luckwell and Di Dray for their winning produce! Thanks to Cllr Sue and Cllr Malcolm Locking for doing a sterling job of the judging . They tasted 29 entries (sometimes twice!) in the competition before they reached their verdict...Well done !

Cheeky Chutney Show!


The Pleasant Residents’ Association...first ever

Cheeky Chutney Show!

 Your chance to show the world (well this part of Louth anyway J) how good your homemade produce is on Saturday 24th October  at

St Michael’s Church Hall, Mount Pleasant, Louth.


Five classes to enter, 50 p per entry, £5 first prize for each class, the classes are:

Preserves

1/ The Cheekiest Chutney

2/ The Juiciest Jam

3/ The Perfect Piccallili

Cakes

4/ The Superlative Sponge (Victoria variety J)

5/ The Classiest Cup Cake (set of 6)



On the day

Registration of entries between 11 am and midday

Judging starts at 12.30pm

Results announced at 2.00pm...to be followed by an exciting auction of all the donated entries! So even if you don’t enter the competition please come along and bid for some delicious homemade produce!

Big(ger) Lunch!

Thanks to some lovely weather and the Ukelele band of Louth we had a record attendance at this year's Big Lunch!
Here are some photos to show local residents enjoying each other's company.
Thankyou everyone for making it such a great occasion..and bringing such a lot of lovely fresh food!

Priory Ward- Election Special

There will be a special event at St Michael's Hall on Thursday 23rd April 2015 starting at 7pm.

In view of forthcoming local elections for Town and District councillors, the committee agreed that it would useful to get all the prospective candidates for Priory Ward to attend a meeting to give the local electorate an opportunity to meet them all before the election day.

The format for the meeting will be:

Welcome and introductions.

Short personal statement from each candidate present.

Question & Answer session, questions for each candidate to answer in turn.

Break for refreshments and a chance to chat one to one with the candidates.
